I found an interesting sulfur lump today between large rock located in
the eastern hill of Crater I. The surfae is flat. It seemed that some one
may, probably miners, picked it up and placed where I found it.
This sulfur lump has some rock fragments and an impact crater with crater
rim on it. I suppose that the molten sulfur was blown at the crater in
the explosion and flew onto a shallow hole on a large rock and this time
the flat surface was made. And then rocks flew onto the sulfur when the
sulfur was still hot and melted and created impact crater on the sulfur
lump.

今日は興味深い硫黄の塊を見つけた。硫黄は平らな縁を持っている。この硫黄は大きな岩の間にあったが、おそらくもともと岩の上にあったものを鉱山関係者が移動させたのだろう。
硫黄には、岩石片が埋め込まれるように入っている。また衝撃クレーターが形成している。おそらくこういうことだろう。硫黄が溶けた状態で飛ばされて岩の穴にたまった。まだ溶けているときに火口から噴石が飛ばされて硫黄に落ち、衝撃クレーターを形成した。
